About us

Tako Foods is a family run company founded in 2010 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Through the years we managed to move further and expand our business in three more countries in Europe- Czech Republic, Romania and Hungary. Our philosophy is passion for Japanese cuisine and its incredible variety of products and flavours. Our core business is import and distribution of authentic Japanese products, which we manage to enrich by adding to our portfolio also Thai and Korean ingredients.

Our catalogue consists of several categories- rice, noodles, sauces, seasonings, quality fish products and non-food products. We work in two directions- wholesale distribution and retail distribution. We aim to work with our customers and build long term relationship, because we have common goals and that is to support and contribute to the development of gastro culture in the countries where we operate.
